Great food and service. Took my wife and my daughter's family out for Mother's Day. Love the Mongolian beef dish, but all the food was great!

The food was delicious. We got the hot pot with the half and half broth. Loved it all. It was a fun way to share a meal.

Friends said it was one of the two actual authentic Chinese restaurants in town. The other being a northern style one. The food quality is consistently good, but the spiciness is not very consistent, so might want to clarify how spicy you want the dishes to be when ordering.

This restaurant really serves authentic Szechuan food. The dishes I ordered really didn't disappoint. Great taste and really spicy. It's not like the other restaurants where some tuned down the spice level to suit consumers that are not accustomed to real Szechuan spicy food. If you are looking for authentic Szechuan spicy food, I would strongly recommend this place.

It was amazing. We came for hot pot and it was delicious, spicy, and reminded me of being back in Chongqing. They had lotus root which is super hard to find and the food was quite flavorful. Portions were extremely generous and we loved the half and half option. We had no need to do the second ayce round. I can't wait to come back for other menu items, but I might always end up with hot pot. The only negative is that it gets super busy and you can't make a rezo so you kind of have to time it right or come later in the evening.

I have been dying to try this restaurant for YEARS! I have seen so many positive reviews about it and the sad truth is, I just don't go out to West Allis all that often (it's like 15 minutes and now that I have tried this place, I will be there more often!). We were able to order over the phone for pickup (you can also order online) and the whole thing was just very efficient. We were told 20 mins our food would be ready and it was. This was shocking to me because when we got in the restaurant, on a Wednesday night mind you, every single table was full! I could not believe it. But after trying the food, I get it. Based on the Yelp reviews and photos, we ordered the Mapo Tofu, the spicy pork dumplings and the eggplant in garlic sauce. ALL so good! Huge portions and the total was less than $40. My personal favorite was the eggplant, but I am a spice wimp and the other two had quite the kick. I really recommend giving it a try if you have not been yet.

As a relatively recent transplant to MKE, I was so happy to finally find some decent Chinese food. My foodie cousins did not steer me wrong. Not only did they have "American" faves, but for those of us who also enjoy authentic flavors, there are plenty of options. So far I have tried the crab rangoon, egg rolls, potstickers, egg drop soup, beef with broccoli, mayo tofu, chicken fried rice, sautéed string beans, and Dan Dan noodles. No complaints on anything! Everything was delicious. My fave has to be the Dan Dan noodles and sautéed string beans. Service was fast and friendly. I was impressed that they were not overwhelmed by my big family. We didn't have to wait long to eat. This place is very casual. Great for families. I will definitely be back and will try other dishes - especially with a little spice to warm me up this winter!

Set in a strip mall with a great Asian store. I have heard about Sze Chuan from some lamb lovers but never had the time to go check it out. Since I was shopping for ingredients, decided to stop by and try the restaurant. Since then have gone back twice. The restaurant is not fancy and somewhat hectic, but the food is delicous. I have yet to try the hot pot, but tried the dry pot and they are delicious (chicken and some lamb). I am a fan of egg drop soup and it was silky as expected. The portions are hearty and the flavors abudant. The service is a bit hectic - sometimes you have to ask for things twice, but the intentions are good.

This place makes all of my dumpling dreams come true! Online ordering is simple and seamless. I placed an order at 5:15 and my order was hot and ready by 5:30. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall that has ample parking. The moment you walk in you are welcomed by the aroma of chilies. The staff were attentive even though the restaurant was already busy with their dinner crowd. I quickly glanced around & saw many tables had opted for the hot pot. The staple, must have item for me are the szechuan pork dumplings; the perfect amount of spice, texture, and umami. This time I tried the wonton noodle soup which was tasty on its own, but I added some chili oil to give it a little kick. The Shanghai greens were just an order of braised bok choy, which I love, but lacked any exciting flavor compared to the other items I've eaten. I can't wait to go back and try something new!

We happened to be visiting the Milwaukee area and I was really craving some authentic Sichuan Chinese food. I'm so glad we decided to try this place out because everything we ordered was fantastic. I can't say there was a single dish we did not like. We were pleasantly surprised at how fast the food came out. For the appetizer, we ordered their Ox Tendon & Maw in Spicy Chili Sauce (savory and spicy), for mains we ordered their Mapo Tofu (delicious, spicy and numb-y), Pork Intestine & Blood Cake (rich and spicy), Dry Chili Chicken (fried and crispy with a kick), Sautéed String Beans (seasoned well and perfectly cooked), and Sliced Potatoes (tasty and comforting). All the spicy dishes were not too overwhelmingly spicy, which I appreciated because that meant we could still taste other flavors. However, the spicy dishes still had more than enough kick if you are a fan of and can handle spicy foods. This place was so good we actually went back for lunch a couple days later. We got their Eggplant in Garlic Sauce (flavorful and a bit tangy) and Dan Dan noodles (nutty and earthy with a kick). This place is located in a strip mall so parking is very convenient. Service was fast and casual. Highly recommend!
